Vegan Ethiopian Fare on Brick Lane

Sunday Upmarket and Boiler House on Brick Lane
    Tower Hamlets
    London, E1
    UK

The Boiler House came on my radar after my friends who run Essential Vegan (go try their "honey" cake) started a weekend stall inside. I frequent East London's Sunday Upmarket purely to visit the Ethiopian food stall Ethiopiques, so I was elated to find them just around the corner from the cake. It's unlike what I've tried at various Ethiopian restaurants, but just as tasty, with a huge selection of salads and hot dishes served alongside (and inside of) injera. If you're around Brick Lane in search of East London vegan eats on the weekend, I highly recommend treating yourself to a plate of grub from Ethiopiques, followed by a cake chaser. Obviously.

The food was off- spinach and the pancake, and there was just peas and lettuce om the plate.. very disappointed + gave me bad belly ache for the rest of the day!

A thoughtful read for long time vegans and nonvegans alike, this is one of the best styles of arguing for and discussion veganism I have yet to find. Highly recommended reading.
