Word on the street is that Fry's Vegetarian is now available to purchase in the supermarket chain Booths, which is great news for Northern vegans and others looking to eat less meat. All of the stores are stocking Fry's Meat Free Nuggets, Chicken-style Strips, Pepper Steak-style Pies and Sausage Rolls.
If there's one way to ruffle the faux feathers of a vegan in the UK, it's to mention the Quorn saturation in supermarkets. It's nice to see a vegetarian alternative like Fry's, one that's actually cruelty free, hitting the shelves of a chain.
All of the Fry's products in Booths are available at half price until May 20, 2014, as an introductory promotion, so go stock up!
